South Charlton Indoor Carpet Bowls Club

The Indoor Carpet Bowls Club was formed In the 1970’s shortly after the Village School closed in 1974 and the Village School had a change of use to a Village Hall with charitable status.

The Club was one of the founders of the North Northumberland Indoor carpet Bowls League and members enjoyed competing in the League and competitions associated with it. Members have and still take part in competitions hosted by other clubs in the League and other clubs throughout the County.

Meetings of the Club are held throughout the season from September to April on Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm. Everyone is welcome to come, take part and enjoy a very sociable evening of bowls.
